POC unveil the new winter season apparel collection
The centrepiece of POC's new 25/26 Winter season apparel collection is the merino layer collection, crafted with premium fabrics and a fitted design to deliver warmth, performance, and Scandinavian style. The collection offers a fresh perspective on skiing and life on the slopes and is effortlessly adaptable to a host of conditions and activities.
The new season apparel collection also includes a series of innovative and updated products, including a new Mentor Coat, which has already carved out a unique place on the mountain. Plus a host of new POC casual styles, for those moments before and after the adventure.
Born and based in Stockholm, Sweden, POC is a pioneer in safety and performance. Almost two decades ago, the brand entered the snow scene with ideas that reshaped the vision of safety and protection.
Today, safety and innovation are still the centrepiece of POC's development process. And it's this process and expertise that led POC to create the original and award-winning cut-resistant protective base layer for ski racers, which has fused the best of performance, flexibility and protection for elite ski racers.
It's a process that has inspired the new collection of traditional merino base layers, as explained by POC's apparel Director, Monica Lindström- "We have taken all our years of know-how in designing and developing high-performance apparel and applied it to our brand-new merino layer styles. The objective has been to develop merino base layers which will perform exceptionally well during periods of high intensity, like skiing, as well as enhancing those low-intensity moments of recovery and calm. The collection features a clearly defined POC silhouette and a minimalism packed with premium materials, performance and technology. We are delighted with the new collection and hope it will inspire more and more people to explore."
The merino layer collection comprises a set of Jerseys and 3/4 Tights in Men's, Women's, and Junior styles, and a balaclava, neck warmer and beanie. The collection is complemented by a brand-new line of ski socks, designed with specific areas of reinforcement and protection, coupled with high levels of comfort and breathability.
New Mentor Coat
A standout piece from the new seasonal collection is the highly regarded and favourite on the slopes, the Mentor Coat, coming in a regular black and new Apatite Blue. This season, it has been updated with new materials which are fully taped and an updated design to optimise its protection and exceptional performance. The ideal outer layer for skiers and outdoor enthusiasts, the Mentor Coat combines weather protection with flexible storage and layering possibilities to provide everything you need, whatever the weather.
POC Casual – new and updated
Newly updated styles for the POC Crew and POC Hood, constructed entirely from soft and durable long-staple cotton, provide a premium feel that brings out the best in any casual moment. Combined with POC's range of insulated Vests, Jackets, and Parkas, ensure you have the tools to take on all the weather.
In addition, the classic and all-important detail, the POC Beanie (regular, flat, pom and short), has been reworked with a merino-acrylic blend for ultimate functionality and comfort. Constructed from a 50% acrylic and 50% Merino wool blend, they provide optimal warmth and comfort in all conditions. They are available in a range of new colours, including Apricot Sunstone, Sulphite Yellow, Emerald Green, and Purple Quartz.
